This Privacy Policy explains how Korq Planner ("we," "our," or "us") manages your information. Our core principle is privacy by design: all your data stays on your device by default, and we do not collect or transmit any personal or analytical information unless you explicitly choose to use cloud sync or integrations.

Information We Collect

By Default:

  • All your tasks, goals, notes, attachments, and app usage data are stored locally on your device.
  • We do not collect, transmit, or analyze your data. There is no background analytics, tracking, or remote data collection.
  • Attachments and sensitive content never leave your device.

If You Choose Cloud Sync or Integrations (Korq Pro):

  • Only if you create an account and enable Korq Pro cloud features, your selected sync data is encrypted before upload and transmitted to provide backup and cross-device sync.
  • Encrypted sync data may include tasks, goals, notes, planner data, attachments, photos or videos, audio files, and other user-generated content you choose to store in Korq.
  • We collect account and service data needed to operate Pro features, including your email address, app account/user ID, app-generated device ID, and subscription or purchase status.
  • We do not collect customer support messages through the app, and we do not collect emails or text messages unless a future feature explicitly asks you to import or forward that content.
  • We only process the minimum data necessary for these features, and never access your encrypted content for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
  • All data transmissions use industry-standard TLS encryption to ensure security during transfer.

Subscriptions and Purchases:

  • If you subscribe to Korq Pro, purchase and entitlement data is processed by the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat so we can unlock paid features and restore purchases.
  • We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

How We Use Your Data

Local Use Only:

  • All features—including task management, reminders, goal tracking, and notifications — operate entirely on your device.
  • Your data is never used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.

Cloud Sync/Integrations (Korq Pro):

  • If you opt in, your content is encrypted before leaving your device and is used only to provide the sync, backup, account, subscription, or integration service you request.
  • Email address, user ID, device ID, and purchase status are used for account authentication, device coordination, subscription entitlement checks, restore purchases, abuse prevention, and customer-requested account support.
  • We do not access, analyze, or use your encrypted content beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver these features.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • Data is only transmitted off your device if you create an account, enable cloud sync, subscribe to Korq Pro, or use an integration that requires transmission.
  • We use service providers such as Supabase for authentication and encrypted cloud storage, and RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management. They process data only to provide services to Korq.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the security and integrity of the App.

Your Rights and Choices

Full Control:

  • You can access, edit, export, or delete all your data directly within the app.
  • You are never required to create an account or provide personal information to use core features.
  • If you create an account, you can request account deletion and deletion of associated cloud data by contacting privacy@korq.io. Deleting the app from your device does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google.

Opt-In Model:

  • Cloud sync, integrations, and any features requiring data transmission are strictly opt-in and disabled by default.

Children's Privacy

  • Korq Planner is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

  • We will notify you of any material changes to this policy via the app.

Governing Law

  • This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Ireland, where our company is established.
